StudioSTL Magazine

The StudioSTL Magazine

The StudioSTL Magazine showcases the best original stories, poems, essays, reviews, and comics we can find. This year, for the first time, we're putting out a call for submissions for all students ages 12-18 who live in the St. Louis area-so send us your stuff! (First, though, read our guidelines). The theme for this issue is "Where I Come From", which you can interpret as strictly or as loosely as you wish. Our deadline for the next issue is Friday, January 23, 2009. If you need ideas to jump-start your creativity, click here!

Saturdays @ The Studio

Saturdays @ the Studio will offer a series of FREE workshops in prose (fiction and nonfiction), poetry, and graphic narrative to students 12-18. Donuts will be served! To find out more and download a registration form, look here. Pieces created in the workshops will be considered for inclusion in the StudioSTL Magazine. The fall workshops start on Saturday, October 18, so if you're interested be sure to register soon! Be on the lookout for more workshops in the spring.

If you have questions about either the magazine or Saturdays @ the Studio, please contact Magazine Director Tess Thompson or call StudioSTL at 314-289-4080.
