WELLSTON BOOK RELEASE

StudioSTL's Publishing Enterprise is proud to announce our Book Release Party! Join us at the Regional Arts Commission in the Delmar Loop on Tuesday, November 18th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm for light refreshments and a short program. The student authors, 7th graders last year at Curtis Bishop Middle School in Wellston, will read pieces from their new book of poetry, "How My Life Has Been Since I Got Older," as will our foreword author and mentor, K. Curtis Lyle. Authors will be available to sign copies of their book, which will be available for sale at the event. Be a part of our creative community as we celebrate, once again, the joy of published student work.

Riverfront Times' Cocktails for a Cause

StudioSTL is the November not-for-profit for the Riverfront Times' Cocktails for a Cause. If you've never been, a $10 donation at the door (which goes directly to StudioSTL!) gets you free drinks (Schlafly at that!) from 6 to 8 pm. Now, as if it could get any better...drum roll please...our venue for this wonderful event is none other than the Cabin Inn at the City Museum! Let's face it, there is no reason not to come to this. Bring your friends, your cousins, your neighbor's dog! It'll be a great time to celebrate our community and relax in a wonderful place with some choice beverages. Wednesday, November 19th. Be there.
